The technology what was certified under operative recirculating aquaculture system of Fish Farm Bohemia Ltd. describes breeding and cost-effective production cycle of high-quality pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) juveniles. Thus produced juvenile pikeperch are fully adapted to the controlled conditions of intensive rearing system and to receiving of artificial pelleted feed. These fish are suitable for subsequent intensive fish farming using recirculation aquaculture system (RAS). The described technology uses results of the successful rearing of advanced juvenile pikeperch, which is harvested from production ponds in size TL = 40–50 mm. After transport, produced juveniles are stocked and adapted to new controlled rearing conditions of RAS and artificial pelleted feed. During adaptation phase, the technology describes in details the whole technological process relevant to the grading, quarantine of stocked fish and optimization of initial density of stocked and adapted fish under RAS. The mentioned technology describes the whole process of adaptation of pikeperch juveniles during 12–14 days when minimal fish mortality and cannibalism rate are guaranteed. Fully adapted fish reach 70 – 85 % survival rate after the whole adaptation process. Next step which is described by mentioned technology is next 75-days culture of fully adapted fish under RAS including fish grading, feeding and different medical treatment during this culture phase. The result of this technology is stable production of juvenile pikeperch with average fish size (TL= 100-120 mm) and body weight (W= 8–10 grams) with cumulative survival rate about 62–65 %.
